Group Lessons

Conversation-based group lessons with no more than 5 individuals. An opportunity to engage with the language in a more social context. I can help you build confidence in front of others through a shared experience.

About Me

Hi, I'm Jamie, an English teacher from Ireland with over 21 years of experience. I've taught more than 1,000 students from diverse backgrounds, helping them improve their English for work, travel, study, and everyday life. I hold a Master's degree and the CELTA qualification, combining strong academic training with extensive classroom experience.

I've developed my own teaching approach, the Circle Back Technique, which builds grammar naturally through repeated use in real conversation rather than traditional exercises. Combined with an effective vocabulary-building method, it helps students develop lasting communication skills.

Many of my students lack confidence when speaking English. My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and experimenting with the language. As confidence grows, so does fluency.
